Headquarters
In the heart of the country and in the heart of horse country, the American Farrier’s Association maintains its headquarters at the National Horse Center on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. Nearly one million equine enthusiasts visit the facility each year, and all are welcome to visit our offices and tour the working farrier shop.
OFFICE MANAGER
Rachel Heighton rejoined the staff of the American Farrier’s Association on January 14th of this year. Rachel initially worked for the AFA as a college intern, returned as an Administrative Assistant, and rejoins us as Office Manager, making this her third time working for the AFA.
Rachel says she is very excited to be back with the AFA and looks forward to future possibilities, especially in regards to having the 2010 World Equestrian Games hosted next to AFA Headquarters.
Administrative Assistant
An Administrative Assistant for the American Farrier’s Association for the past two years, Ashley works with virtually all of the AFA’s programs.
Ashley is looking forward to going back to school in the fall where she will be majoring in Equine Business Management.
